What's going on in Math/Science?

Our classroom is working on place value through the billions, decimals to the hundredths, and data analysis.

Our class is also working on fact fluency up to 12x12.
Soon we will begin division fact fluency.

In science we are practicing science safety and learning the uses of science tools.

Students will receive math homework on Monday and it will be due on Friday.
In addition, students may bring home assignments they were unable to complete in class.
These may be finished at home and return it to school.

Reading/LA/SS homework will be given by Mrs. Rodriguez.

**Keep practicing those multiplication facts. **
The students know which fact family we are practicing in class and which ones they are struggling to master.
They can practice with flashcards, web sites, and apps to get faster at these facts.

**Students may bring home math and science notebooks as needed.**
The notebooks can be used to assist with homework and study for tests and assignments.
It is very important that students come to class prepared daily with their notebook.
Please do not keep notebooks at home on school days as we use them in class each day.
