Birnham Woods School Song
(To the tune of "You're A Grand Old Flag")

Birnham Woods Bulldogs
Always giving our all.
May we learn, may we work,  may we strive.
To be the best (clap, clap)
Above the rest (clap, clap),
Keeping our futures alive ("Bulldogs").
We will always know
That wherever we go
Birnham Woods will be on our side.
We'll go through life
With our heads held high.
And G.R.O.W.L. with our
Bulldog pride.  (Growl)

Welcome to my website.  The music room at Birnham Woods is awesome!  I am always excited to see you again or meet you and welcome you to the "Bulldog" family.  The core music curriculum includes singing, movement, instruments, the study of composers and music theory through Kodaly and Orff.  Recorders are introduced in 3rd grade and continued in 4th grade.  We also have a 4th grade Honor Choir.  On a personal note, I have been a music teacher for twenty-eight years.  My main instrument is piano and I played clarinet in junior high, high school and college.  My husband, James, and I love to travel and explore different cities and states.  Please check back for dates of upcoming events and important information.
