Getting Home From School:  If for any reason your child has a change in transportation, please send a dated note to school with them, signature required.  Without a note, they will have to follow their regular way of transportation. This is mainly for the safety of your child. You can also send an email
Report Cards: Report cards are sent home every grading period to keep you informed of your child’s progress. This will help you celebrate your child’s accomplishments and will provide a snapshot of areas in which a little extra support is needed.

Snack: Please allow your child to bring a healthy snack daily.

Birthdays:  Birthdays are special occasions for young children. You may send a special treat (store brought/no peanuts or candy please) on that day for your child to pass out during the last 10 minutes of lunch time to his/her classmates. Personal birthday party invitations can only be distributed at school if the whole class is invited.
PTO: I would love to have 100% parent participation in the PTO.  The PTO gives your child a voice in how different things are being run in the school.

Sending Medicine to School:  Please send your child to school only when he or she is well.  If you do need to send medicine to school for your child, you must deliver the medicine in person - no medicines are allowed on the school bus or in children's backpacks.  Medicines will be kept in the nurse’s office. The nurse will administer the medicine at the proper time.  Medicine must not be expired, and it must be sent in its original container with the directions and the child's name on it.
