Mrs. Dover's Webpage!

Homework goes home EVERY Friday unless you hear
differently from me.

In the event that you FORGOT to bring home
your homework for the week, then you are required
to do this homework instead. The schedule never changes
unless we are preparing for a big test or there
are special circumstances, such as a long holiday.
If this occurs, then I will send a note home to let you know.
So, please look for this in the
Yellow BEE Folder every Friday.

Homework will always be a review of a skill
that we have been practicing in school.
 Monday- Language
If you forget your homework use your spelling words and write 5 good sentences using correct punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. Bring the completed homework to school tomorrow.
Tuesday- Math
If you forget your math homework practice solving 10 addition and 10 subtraction problems or practice with Math Fact flash cards. Another option would be to have your child count collections of coins and write the amount of money on a piece of paper.  If your child does these activities, then please send a note to school so I know that homework was completed.
In the event that you have forgotten your homework, your homework will be to read your library book and complete the homework assignment found in your child's homework folder. If you forget your library book, then you will need to read a book from home and write at least 3 sentences about your book.  If you're reading a chapter book.  Tell me something interesting about each chapter that you read.  Bring your work to school.
Thursday- Spelling
If you forget your spelling homework, then write your spelling words 2 times each in  different colors.  Don't forget to bring your work to school.
